An onsite Multifunction Hall is a unique self-contained building also overlooking the lake. The ground floor is home to Shwe Pyi Resort Fine Dining Restaurant, the dining room where guests are served a hearty buffet breakfast. Woodcarving Museum and Villa

Along with the many other exciting outdoor activities which Shwe Pyi Resort offers, the main highlight is surely the Woodcarving Museum and Villa where guests can stroll through displays of over 20,000 traditional and modern teak art pieces and sculptures – the largest collection in Myanmar – ranging from sculptures of bathing maidens to giant forest creatures. Visitors can observe the resident wood-carving artisans showcasing their mastery too. The Villa is located 2.4 km from the main part of the resort and can be reached on foot, by rental bicycle, or by buggy.

Shwe Pyi Restaurant

Shwe Pyi Restaurant offers great views of the lake behind it and is in easy access to those passing along the highway. The dining area is a grand space decorated with teak carvings and landscaping with both indoor and open-air dining options. The menu has many options of casual European comfort food as well as a hearty selection of traditional Myanmar, Thai and Chinese cuisines. As well as the main 200-seat restaurant, a private dining room is also available to cater for up to 100 additional diners.
